POSITION TITLE: COMMERCIAL PAINTER

Position Overview
Profeta Painting is seeking a dependable and skilled Commercial Painter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and applying coatings to a wide range of commercial and industrial surfaces, both interior and exterior.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and values safety, teamwork, and professionalism on every job site.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
  • Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
  • Complete projects across various commercial environments (offices, warehouses, retail spaces, industrial facilities)
  • Operate and maintain painting tools, equipment, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Follow project specifications, blueprints, and all safety protocols
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients as needed
  • Meet production timelines while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of commercial painting experience preferred
  • Experience with spray equipment (airless or air-assisted) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of coatings such as epoxies, urethanes, and industrial finishes is a plus
  • Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
  • Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday
