Job description

Role Summary
Help bring the AOS brand to life across our region, beginning with the experience of our Baton Rouge showroom.
AOS Interior Environments is looking for a Brand Experience Manager to support regional brand activation while shaping the day-to-day experience of our Baton Rouge showroom. This role will help build lasting relationships across the architecture, design, commercial real estate, and business communities we serve.
Based in Baton Rouge, this hands-on role sits at the intersection of hospitality, marketing, events, content, and showroom operations. You'll welcome clients and partners, coordinate programs and events, support showroom hospitality, and share stories from across our markets. You'll work as part of the AOS marketing team and collaborate closely with business development, project management, design support, manufacturer partners, and community organizations.
About AOS
AOS Interior Environments is Louisiana and Mississippi's largest locally owned furniture, fixtures, and equipment contractor. Founded in Algiers in 1976, the firm partners with architects, interior designers, and clients across education, healthcare, corporate, and public sectors to translate design vision into physical reality. Led by President and CEO Shelby Russ, AOS employs 104 professionals with an average tenure of 10 years, executes more than 400 projects annually, and counts clients who have trusted the firm for decades. As the exclusive MillerKnoll dealer in Baton Rouge and New Orleans and a nationally recognized DIRTT Distribution Partner, AOS brings world-class brands and solutions to the Gulf South through a team that is locally owned, locally accountable, and deeply invested in the communities it serves.
What you'll do
Create a welcoming showroom experience
โ€ข Serve as the day-to-day point person for the Baton Rouge showroom, creating a warm, polished experience for clients, partners, and colleagues.
โ€ข Coordinate showroom calendars, reservations, tours, client visits, and presentation setup.
โ€ข Keep the space organized, current, and ready for meetings and events; coordinate product updates and installations with internal teams and manufacturer partners.
โ€ข Partner with business development, project management, and design support colleagues on client presentations and showroom meetings.
Bring local programs and events to life
โ€ข Plan and execute continuing education sessions, product showcases, receptions, client programs, and team appreciation events from invitation through follow-up.
โ€ข Coordinate schedules, vendors, budgets, communications, guest details, and on-site logistics.
โ€ข Build useful partnerships with local industry associations, community organizations, and manufacturer representatives.
โ€ข Represent AOS at relevant industry and community events in the Baton Rouge market.
Activate the AOS brand across the Region
โ€ข Partner with the broader marketing team to activate company-wide initiatives across AOS markets through content, events, partnerships, sponsorships, and programming.
โ€ข Identify and capture stories about projects, people, products, and partnerships for social media, email, the website, and other communications.
โ€ข Coordinate photography and video, manufacturer co-op marketing, project spotlights, award submissions, and public relations opportunities across the region.
โ€ข Travel occasionally to New Orleans, client sites, and regional events to support programs and maintain a consistent AOS brand experience.
โ€ข Apply AOS brand standards consistently while adapting communications to each audience, market, and occasion.
Build relationships and learn from results
โ€ข Develop genuine working relationships with architects, designers, facility and workplace leaders, commercial real estate professionals, clients, and community partners.
โ€ข Create meaningful engagement opportunities that support business development.
โ€ข Track showroom visits, event participation, content activity, partnerships, and follow-up so the team can see what is resonating and improve future efforts.
Requirements
What you bring
โ€ข Relevant experience in marketing, events, hospitality, client experience, communications, business development, or a related field. Around five years is helpful, but we welcome candidates whose experience shows they can do the work.
โ€ข A clear, warm communication style and comfort building relationships with a range of clients, partners, and colleagues.
โ€ข Experience planning professional events and managing the details, timelines, and follow-up that make them successful.
โ€ข Strong organization, sound judgment, and the ability to move work forward independently while keeping others informed.
โ€ข An interest in commercial interiors, architecture, workplace, hospitality, or the built environment, with curiosity to learn the products and processes behind the work.
โ€ข Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, Canva and social media platforms; comfort learning customer relationship management and marketing tools.
โ€ข All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check as part of the hiring process.
โ€ข All candidates must complete a Culture Index Survey
Helpful, but not required
โ€ข A degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, public relations, interior design, or a related area.
โ€ข Experience with photography, short-form video, graphic design, email marketing, website content, or customer relationship management systems.
โ€ข Familiarity with commercial FF&E, architecture and design firms, manufacturer partners, or continuing education programs.
This is an in person position working out of our new Baton Rouge Showroom.
