Job description

RJE has a full time onsite opening for a commericial interior designer in our Cincinnati office. As a designer, you will be responsible for commercial furniture specifications. 


Reports to: Senior Leadership


Qualifications:


  • Interior Design degree – 4 years
  • 1-2 years previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry, preferred but not required
  • Proficient with: AutoCAD
  • Preferred: CET
  • Preferred: CAP 20/20
  • Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient with: Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Critical/creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited timeframes


Tasks and responsibilities include:


  • Client fact finding process and programming
  • Creating design presentations to support furniture typical specifications
  • Develop furniture floorplan, specifications, and finish package for approval
  • Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials
  • Participates in product evaluation and selection
  • Provide installation packets
  • Conducts field measurements
