ZGF is seeking a bright and driven Senior Interior Designer with a passion for design excellence to join our team in Seattle, Washington. Our ideal candidate thrives on team and client leadership. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will...
  • Possess a knowledge of all aspects of design, including programming, space planning, color and material research, FF&E, and lighting design.
  • Collaborate with and/or manage teams to generate and develop design concepts.
  • Clearly communicate design concepts visually and verbally to teams and clients.
  • Lead programming efforts and analysis.
  • Keenly understand design trends with a focus on workplace.
  • Manage and mentor team members from concept design through construction administration.
  • Assist in developing fee proposals, project schedules, and design workplans.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with clients and consultants with sensitivity to project fees, budgets, schedules.
  • Participate in business development activities and advise in marketing pursuits.
  • Advocate for an inclusive, supportive work culture through listening, learning, and actions.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor or higher degree in Interior Design or Architecture and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field. NCIDQ or AIA preferred.
  • Experience managing complex clients with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent team communication skills, design presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Communication, leadership, and organizational/managerial expertise.
  • Proficient modeling with and leading projects in Revit and Enscape required.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Demonstrated competency in programming and space planning.
  • Experience in large and small-scale projects across a diversity of industries.
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
  • Experience in workplace strategy and consulting is a plus.
  • LEED and/or WELL accreditation is a plus.

Base Salary Range
$122,000/yr - $142,000/yr
