MA Design is hiring a Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager for our Healthcare studio. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of all assigned projects, including management of client and team members assigned to projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage project lifecycle and collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work; serve as primary client liaison
  • Manage and directly participate in the production of construction documents, from the schematic design phase through construction administration
  • Schedule production activities and staffing in alignment with available project hours
  • Perform QA/QC review for drawings, specifications, and other project documents before issuance; facilitate review by the Principal-in-Charge of the project prior to issuance of stamped documents
  • Attend and/or lead construction job site meetings
  • Oversees completion of project documents for all phases of assigned projects
  • Mentors junior staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in architecture, interior design, or space planning; NCIDQ certification
  • High level of proficiency in Revit; Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Thorough knowledge of construction materials and methods including sustainable solutions.
  • Understand appropriate industry technologies and software
  • Understanding of architectural contracts and internal project budgets
  • High level of proficiency in building code as applicable to each project
  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage a diverse project team, including consultants, clients, and internal architectural teams
  • Strong client focus with attention to detail
