Job Overview

The Client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Hospitality Interior Designer to join our Frederick, Maryland studio.

We are looking for a designer with 2 to 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial interior design. This position is ideal for someone who has moved beyond entry-level work and is ready to grow within a fast-paced, project-driven design studio.


We are open to candidates whose experience level is:

Designer, 3 to 5 years’ experience

Salary commensurate with experience.

Hospitality experience is preferred, but we will also consider candidates with strong commercial

interior design experience and a clear interest in hotel, resort, and lifestyle design.


Responsibilities include:

• Assist the senior designer with hospitality interior design projects

• Prepare and write FF&E specifications

• Assist with CAD, Revit, and general drawing production

• Support space planning for hotel guestrooms, public spaces, and amenity areas

• Contribute conceptual design ideas for hotel and hospitality projects

• Interpret brand standards for conversion and refresh projects

• Verify key information in specifications, including quantities, dimensions, finishes, and product details

• Source products based on direction from the senior designer

• Contact vendors for product information, pricing, lead times, and follow-up

• Review drawings and help ensure information is exchanged clearly with the production team

• Prepare finish, material, and presentation samples

• Assemble finish index sample books

• Assist with design library organization and general studio support
