ABOUT THE JOB:

We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Business Development professional to expand and deepen our presence within the interior design trade community. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, relationship-driven individual with a proven track record of success and a loyal client following in the A&D Community.


  RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cultivate and grow client engagement and sales generation on a ongoing basis
  • Develop and executer business development strategies, including events, partnerships, and promotional initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of luxury design trends, trade practices, and key players in the industry.
  • Ensure Cantoni's clients experience service that is consistent with the brand      promise and company's standards.
  • Provide client support and resolution in all aspects of the customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and store sales goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships with interior design professionals on a regular basis utilizing company programs and tools.
  • Expand the client's connection to the Cantoni brand as well as expand the client's vision through additional items based on assessing client needs.
  • Demonstrate confidence in your design and sales capabilities to lead the client experience throughout the design journey and/or relationship
  • Travel  as needed for client meetings and presentations, events, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • A  minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or client relations within interior design, luxury furnishings, or related high-end lifestyle industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and grow long term relationships with A & D professionals and decision makers
  • Proven success in developing and closing B2B sales opportunities, achieving revenue targets, and identifying growth potential in the A & D community.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and conduct effective outreach.
