An Interior Design Real Estate job blends interior design principles with real estate expertise to enhance property aesthetics and functionality for buyers or tenants. Professionals in this field stage homes, suggest renovations, and optimize layouts to increase property value and appeal. What are the typical daily responsibilities for someone working in interior design real estate?

Daily responsibilities in Interior Design Real Estate often include meeting with clients to assess their needs, creating design concepts tailored to property marketing, sourcing materials, and coordinating with contractors and real estate agents. You may conduct property site visits, prepare visual presentations, and oversee staging to enhance a listing's market appeal. In addition, you'll likely handle project schedules, budgets, and client communications, ensuring that all elements come together smoothly. While the role involves creative work, it also requires excellent organizational and collaboration skills to manage ongoing projects simultaneously. Job description

Looking to work both sides of the business — buyers and sellers — without building your own systems from scratch?

Most agents piece together their own CRM, their own transaction tracking, their own compliance checks. Ours is already built. You'll work on every transaction inside a real infrastructure. You're never guessing whether something got done — there's a system tracking it, and a managing broker backing you up.

You'll also have access to both RMLS and WVMLS, so you can show any home across the Portland metro and Willamette Valley, plus warm buyer and seller leads through our Homestack app and Pearl AI assistant. Marketing, photography, and design support are in-house — you focus on the client relationship, not on building your own back office.

We're an independent, locally owned team (not a franchise) with 2,500+ homes sold and a track record that clients recognize. If you want the autonomy of running your own book of business with the structure and accountability of a real team behind you, apply now.

Compensation:

$125,000 - $250,000

Responsibilities:
  • Assist buyer clients with the home purchase process including budgeting and options with a mortgage lender
  • Reach out to pre-qualified leads to gauge their interest and determine their wants and needs for a home
  • Schedule showings, show homes, and go to open houses for potential buyers
  • Act as the intermediary between the client and the listing agent to ensure a smooth real estate transaction
  • Prepare representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds, and leases for a successful close

Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience as a buyer’s agent or relevant real estate experience
  • Familiarity with the area real estate market and current real estate trends
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and can travel by car
  • Candidate should have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must demonstrate a consistent record of real estate success
  • Friendly and outgoing
  • High level of integrity
  • Smart and motivated by success
  • Humble and a team player
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work flexible hours as the schedule is determined by client needs (most often landing on weekends and evenings)
  • Real Estate license in Oregon or Washington, or in the process of obtaining a license
