Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible and accountable to responding to email in the Interior Design mailbox. Expectation is a 24-hour response rate.
Review Design submittals for renovation and conversion projects as required.
Assist Renovation Team in writing PIPs (Property Improvement plans).
May need to assist with SPEXX as required.
Will assist ID leads with paint flyers and manufacturer direct layouts.
Participates in company events, takes initiative, and contributes to the overall culture and success.

Skills:

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
One to Two (1-2) years in hospitality design
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects and initiatives.
Be an amiable and flexible member of a highly collaborative team.
Be a motivated team player, collaborative and a self-starter.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD 2007 (or higher), Revit, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, InDesign, and Excel.
SPEXX software knowledge is a plus but not required.
Experience in PIP writer is a plus but not required.
General understanding of project management, design products and finishes and the procurement process.
Experienced in working with and knowledgeable of multiple hotel brands' standards in multiple market tiers.
Must be confident speaker who may be comfortable in being client facing and speaking with Owners.
Experience preparing design presentations, design mood boards, writing FF&E specifications, reviewing shop drawing submittals.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in interior design from a FIDER or CIDA accredited program or equivalent.
