Job Description
- Support a design/build construction team that assembles pre-manufactured metal buildings for commercial and industrial projects.
- Assist carpenters with building assembly, finish carpentry tasks, and material handling to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters in assembling pre-manufactured metal buildings on commercial and industrial job sites.
- Support finish carpentry work, including tasks that help complete interior and exterior building details.
- Install and secure metal panels by accurately screwing and fastening them according to specifications.
- Transport and organize carpenters’ tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas as directed.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and correctly under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
- Measure and mark materials using a tape measure to support framing and general construction activities.
- Perform general labor tasks such as site cleanup, material staging, and assisting with framing work.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on active construction sites and outdoor environments.
- Work collaboratively with carpenters and other crew members to maintain productivity and meet project timelines.
Essential Skills
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure in a construction setting.
- Basic construction experience, including familiarity with job site practices and workflows.
- Comfort working with and around power tools and hand tools.
- Capability to perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on commercial construction sites.
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow directions and support skilled carpenters.
- Construction & experience running heavy equipment preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Kasson, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
