As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Tax department by ensuring smooth operations and accurate processes. From managing e-filings to coordinating client correspondence and departmental logistics, you’ll help our tax professionals focus on delivering remarkable service to clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep Us Compliant. Serve as the primary transmitter of e-file returns to taxing authorities, ensuring accuracy and reliability of the firm’s e-file system.
  • Support the Work. Set up new clients, prepare billings in Practice Engine (PE), and update projects, rollovers, and job records to keep client information accurate and current.
  • Deliver Accuracy. Prepare client letters, extensions, W-2s, 1099s, and other tax reports while proofreading and reviewing for precision.
  • Coordinate & Organize. Manage outgoing mail, schedule tax CPE training events, and coordinate departmental meetings.
  • Be a Trusted Partner. Support tax professionals by assisting with processing, scanning, autoflow, and other administrative tasks that keep the team moving forward.
  • Drive Improvement. Assist with special projects, contribute to process enhancements, and help the tax team deliver consistently excellent results.

What You Bring

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of professional administrative experience required; experience with professional services or a dynamic business environment preferred.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Skilled in data entry and database management; experience with paperless accounting software preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A team player mindset and the ability to deliver results with a balanced, diplomatic, and professional approach.
