Summary of Position: Interior Design majors can apply for this position to grow their understanding and knowledge of materials and finishes as well as administrative duties of an interior designer.
Position Requirements: Must be an interior design major with current or completed credits in the Architectural Materials and/or Textiles and Furniture courses. You must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must be responsible and organized.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain / update resource room samples and materials. Organize and categorize new donations and integrate them into the existing materials while sorting and discarding those that are no longer usable or required. Room must remain organized and tidy.
Clean sink, counters, and floor regularly.
Assist with keeping events / jobs / scholarship boards current in the commons area.
Support administrative needs as necessary for faculty - this includes creating announcements, fliers, copies, etc.
