An established luxury residential interior design firm is seeking an experienced Studio & Design Coordinator to help keep projects, clients, and operations running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a highly organized environment and enjoys being the hub that keeps complex design projects moving forward.

Working alongside an experienced design team, you'll coordinate luxury residential new construction and renovation projects from concept through installation while helping deliver an exceptional client experience.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a proactive professional who enjoys solving problems, managing details, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work.

  • Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
  • Track timelines, selections, approvals, specifications, and outstanding items
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and trade partners
  • Schedule meetings, site visits, deliveries, and installations
  • Prepare meeting agendas, document notes, and follow up on action items

Design Support

  • Create polished client presentations and design boards
  • Organize finish schedules, specifications, and product information
  • Assist with furniture, fixture, finish, and material research
  • Maintain the design library and sample inventory
  • Support client meetings and project installations

Client Experience

  • Keep clients informed throughout the design and construction process
  • Ensure projects remain organized, responsive, and detail-oriented

Studio Operations

  • Improve workflows and internal systems
  • Leverage technology and AI tools to increase efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to improve organization and communication
  • Provide general operational support wherever needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoys creating order from complex projects. You naturally anticipate what needs to happen next and take pride in keeping everything on track.

You'll be successful if you have:

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
  • A collaborative, positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • An interest in learning new technology and AI tools
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Interior Design
    • Architecture
    • Construction
    • Project Coordination
    • Project Management
    • Or another highly detail-oriented professional environment
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong technology aptitude and willingness to learn new software
  • Experience with Canva or similar presentation software
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) or comparable platforms
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar design software is a plus but not required
  • Reliable transportation for occasional site visits and installations

Why You'll Love This Opportunity

  • Hybrid work environment
  • Flexible approximately 20-hour work week
  • Opportunity to work on beautiful luxury residential projects
  • Collaborative, supportive studio culture
  • High level of autonomy and trust
  • Opportunity to help shape studio operations and processes
  • Long-term growth potential within a growing design firm

If you're someone who enjoys bringing structure to creative work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a meaningful role in delivering exceptional residential design projects, we'd love to hear from you.
