Job description

Position Overview: Design Studio specializing in new home construction seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong project management skills, a keen eye for details and the ability to collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, scheduling design appointments, meeting with clients to select materials and finishes, project pricing, preparing documents and diagrams for construction
  • Collaborate closely with Project Manages and clients to understand the vision and requirements for each job
  • Develop and present design concepts to clients 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends


Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or experience in interior design, preferably in residential projects
  • Strong understanding of materials, spatial planning, and color theory
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a demanding environment
  • Proficiency using computer and Microsoft Office software applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Must possess an understanding of the new construction build process and be able to communicate options to buyers relating to all aspects of construction
  • Understand the importance of a project schedule and budget as communicated by the builder and project manager
