SierTeK is seeking an experienced E-Learning Developer to support the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) at Hurlburt Field, FL.

Position Overview Section

The selected candidate will design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning solutions that support Special Tactics training and readiness objectives. This position will collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and government personnel to create interactive courseware, training materials, and technology-enabled learning products. 

Essential job Functions: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based and computer-based training solutions for Special Tactics training programs. 

  • Convert instructor-led training and technical content into engaging e-learning products. 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training requirements and develop instructional strategies. 

  • Develop storyboards, lesson plans, multimedia content, assessments, and learning evaluations. 

  • Ensure training products align with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices. 

  • Update and revise existing courseware to reflect changes in curriculum, procedures, and operational requirements. 

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and testing of training products prior to implementation. 

  • Maintain training documentation and course development records. 

  • Support curriculum modernization efforts and learning technology initiatives. 

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance. 

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education or Psychology. 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting the Department of Defense in Instructional Technology. 

  • Experience designing and developing e-learning, computer-based training, or technology-enabled instructional products. 

  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and training development processes. 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. 

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting military training organizations or Special Operations Forces training programs. 

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and courseware development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar applications. 

  • Familiarity with SCORM-compliant course development and multimedia production. 

  • Experience conducting training needs assessments and curriculum development. 

  • Knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies, including ADDIE.
