Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Intensivist to join their growing practice at North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialized care within a 6-bed PICU and 10-bed pediatric floor. The role involves patient management, consultations, and collaboration with a team of intensivists and pediatric hospitalists, with opportunities to work with medical students.

Practice Info

  • Join a growing practice at North Austin Medical Center
  • Work in a 6-bed PICU and 10-bed pediatric floor
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 intensivists and 4 pediatric hospitalists
  • Excellent sub-specialty support available, including peds ID, peds GI, peds pulmonology, and some peds cardiology
  • Affiliated with Texas A&M School of Medicine, offering opportunities to work with medical students at every level
  • Primary site for the pediatrics clerkship

Responsibilities

  • Admissions and patient management
  • Consultation with families and referring physicians
  • Come in for all admissions, consults, patient emergencies during night shifts

Shift & Schedule
