* 54 bed ICU - medical and cardiovascular with additional 26 beds being added in 2020

* Average census 18 patients per provider

* 24/7 physician coverage - daytime and night APP support

* Internal Medicine Residency program - Residents will rotate through ICU

* Teaching opportunities available

* Fulltime (15 shifts/mo), Part-time, PRN and Locums positions available

* Very competitive hourly rate

The University Medical Center (UMC) is a 612-bed hospital. We opened our doors in 1955 and have evolved into the most advanced healthcare provider in the region. We are a regional referral center for heart care, cancer care, trauma care, children's care, high-risk pregnancies and high-risk newborn care. Our hospital includes the region's only Level 1 trauma center, the region's only children's hospital and the campus of a University School of Medicine.
