Job description

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 20 weeks
  • 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

  • Active RN License (South Dakota or eligible)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (excluding travel experience) preferred
  • 1.5 years of ICU experience (excluding travel) may be considered if they have significant RN experience outside the ICU
  • First-time travelers are NOT accepted
  • Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
  • Must live more than 100 miles from any Monument Health facility

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC 

Required Experience

  • Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Neuro, and Trauma ICU patients
  • Ventilator management
  • Hemodynamic monitoring
  • Vasopressors, sedation, and paralytic drips
  • Telemetry
  • Proning
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
  • Epic charting experience (required)
