Here's how you can help -- we are currently looking for a Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions Architect to provide leadership in the practical application, experimentation, and scaling of artificial intelligence capabilities across the organization and with Lions leaders. In this role, you'll serve as a player-coach, responsible for developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions, teaching and mentoring others, and helping set the strategic direction for responsible and cost-effective AI use. You'll focus on emphasizing selecting, and applying the right tools for the right problems, ensuring AI solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with Lions’ mission and global operating model.
What You’ll Do:
  • Partner across divisions to help shape and operationalize Lions Clubs International's AI strategy through hands-on experimentation and delivery. Collaborates closely with Marketing and other functional teams to enable responsible, business-led AI experimentation and adoption.
  • Partner across divisions to develop standards and educate Lions members in appropriate use of AI, protecting branding, reputation and privacy.
  • Design, build, and pilot applied AI solutions, including generative AI assistants, RAG-based chat agents, and intelligent automation.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in the design, development, experimentation, and scaling of AI-enabled solutions across the organization. 
  • Evaluate business needs and determine the most appropriate solution approach, including generative AI assistants, RAG-based chat agents, intelligent automation, or non-AI solutions. Work with business and technology teams to frame problems appropriately and determine whether AI, automation, or non-AI solutions are the most effective and cost-efficient approach
  • Mentor and teach team members and business partners through hands-on demonstration and practical guidance. Demonstrate working solutions and provide hands-on guidance to teams to build confidence and capability. Establish reusable patterns, reference architectures, and best practices to support broader AI adoption
  • Apply AI capabilities within enterprise platforms optimize AI solutions for accuracy, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations as appropriate. 
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

We’re Looking for Someone With:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in progressively responsible technology roles, including participation in or support of major technology adoption initiatives such as cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, or enterprise automation.
  • Recent hands-on experience developing, piloting, or supporting applied AI solutions, including generative AI assistants, RAG-based chat agents, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience evaluating tools and models and optimizing solutions for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Experience with RAG based AI, Chatbase preferred
  • Experience with assist AI tools including; ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini to create agents.
  • Experience with Automation tools, Agentforce preferred.
  • Experience with general LLM models, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude (Anthropic) preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and to learn quickly in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Compensation: Exempt, $142,000 - $152,000
