Open and Close Dates: Jun 30, 2026 - Jul 14, 2026 Marketing Statement: Summary: This position is located in the Office of Intelligence and Threat Analysis, Directorate of Threat Investigations and Analysis, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, U.S.Department of State (DS/TIA/ITA). In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and disseminating all-source analysis regarding threats and incidents of terrorism, political violence, and crimes directed against U.S. diplomatic facilities/personnel, DS protected individuals/assets and U.S. interests overseas. Major Duties: Who May Apply: Job Status: Duration Appointment: This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years. Conditions of Employment: Education: Education requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement. Requirements: Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting analysis of intelligence information. Experience evaluating the validity, accuracy, and reliability of intelligence information from a variety of sources.
