Job description

About Altis
Altis is a venture intelligence platform that helps investors make faster, better decisions on Series A/B/C companies. We conduct deep primary research (expert interviews with customers, competitors, and industry specialists) to build the analysis that drives investment committee decisions.
We're backed by Primary Venture Partners, co-founded by a Midas-list investor, and building a structured analyst program modeled on the intellectual range and apprenticeship found at top management consulting firms.
About The Role
This is a 2-year program designed to be one of the best analytical training grounds available. You'll support research pods across sectors: conducting interviews, building models, synthesizing findings, and contributing to reports that go directly to investors evaluating Series A+ opportunities.
Top performers advance into senior roles. You'll leave with real expertise in Venture Capital, a network of industry contacts, and equity in a company you helped build.
You'll be mentored by Sector Leads and a Founding CRO (ex-McKinsey, ex-Growth Investor). The CEO is a former BCG Partner. You won't be buried in a back office. You'll work directly with senior people who've led diligence at the top firms.
About You
  • Graduated recently or have up to 2 years of professional experience in Consulting, Banking, or expert networks
  • A strong quantitative and analytical foundation. You're the person who digs until the answer makes sense.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, technology, and what makes companies succeed or fail
  • An appetite for the things that make consulting and banking attractive (intellectual challenge, structured mentorship, working on high-stakes problems); don't worry we skipped the constant travel, grinding on decks at 2am for a client who won't read them
  • Clear communication skills. You can synthesize complexity into something a decision-maker can act on.

You Want
  • $100K - $130K base compensation
  • Meaningful ownership from day 1 - pre-Series A stock options struck at today's early-stage valuation, so you share directly in the upside you help build
  • 100% employer-paid health benefits
  • New York City, in-office 4-5 days/week (27th and Park Ave)
  • Structured 2-year program with defined advancement paths
