Job Title: AI Product Intelligence Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid – Mandatory onsite Tuesday through Thursday)

Duration: 6 Months possibly run for multiple years based on performance

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Product Intelligence Manager to join a high-impact Product Intelligence team. This role is ideal for an AI-native product professional who thrives on transforming ambiguous business opportunities into clear product strategies, actionable requirements, and measurable business outcomes.

Unlike a traditional Product Manager focused primarily on backlog management, this role requires a hands-on leader who personally research, analyzes, prototypes, writes Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), prioritizes initiatives, and collaborates closely with Engineering, Data, Design, and Business stakeholders.

AI should be your primary working method—leveraging it daily for research, synthesis, product discovery, requirements development, decision-making, and executive communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Strategy & Business Value

  • Translate business objectives and customer challenges into product strategies, outcome-based roadmaps, and measurable value hypotheses.
  • Prioritize high-impact product investments that drive adoption, revenue growth, operational efficiency, quality improvements, and risk reduction.
  • Make strategic recommendations on build, defer, stop, or sequence decisions based on business value and capacity.
  • Challenge low-value initiatives and advocate for evidence-based product decisions.

AI-Driven Product Discovery

  • Identify opportunities where agentic AI solutions create measurable business value.
  • Differentiate AI agent use cases from traditional automation, analytics, workflows, or chatbot solutions.
  • Define agent behaviors, required tools, data sources, human oversight, and escalation paths.
  • Evaluate opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, reliability, latency, cost, trust, and operational risk.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops to define autonomy levels, governance, safeguards, observability, and human-in-the-loop processes.
  • Establish success metrics including adoption, accuracy, completion rate, time savings, cost reduction, and recovery from failures.

AI-Native Product Management

  • Utilize AI daily to accelerate research, data analysis, synthesis, prototyping, requirements gathering, and executive presentations.
  • Develop repeatable AI-assisted workflows rather than relying solely on ad hoc prompts.
  • Validate AI-generated outputs, identify hallucinations or unsupported assumptions, and apply sound business judgment.
  • Deliver high-quality product artifacts quickly while continuously refining them through stakeholder feedback.

Product Requirements & Documentation

  • Create concise, engineering-ready Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
  • Define business problems, user needs, workflows, functional requirements, constraints, success metrics, dependencies, and launch criteria.
  • Leverage AI to improve documentation quality while maintaining ownership of final product decisions.
  • Produce lean documentation that enables efficient execution without unnecessary complexity.

Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Convert business objectives into executable delivery plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product Design, Data Analytics, and Business stakeholders.
  • Remove blockers, drive decisions, manage risks, and ensure accountability across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Successfully manage multiple workstreams while maintaining focus on business value and execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Digital Product Delivery, Product Analytics, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning at least one AI-enabled product, feature, workflow, or prototype from concept through implementation and measurement.
  • Proven experience using AI as a core part of daily product work.
  • Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, product specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering-ready documentation.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to prioritize competing initiatives and make data-driven decisions with incomplete information.
  • Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts including orchestration, tool usage, human review, evaluation, trust, and reliability.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, Design, Data Analytics, and Business stakeholders in Agile environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis Tuesday through Thursday.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in startups, consulting, or fast-paced environments with high individual ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with AI platforms and tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or similar AI frameworks.
  • Experience with AI evaluation, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), workflow automation, agent monitoring, or production AI systems.
  • Experience working within healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
