Job description

Are you a current or former Intelligence Analyst who enjoys teaching? Want to have an impact on the next generation of Air Force intel analysts? Then read on!

Leidos is hiring an Intelligence Officer Course Instructor to augment the existing Officer Intelligence Course instructor cadre at Goodfellow AFB. The instructor will support the 17 Training Group (17 TRG) at Goodfellow AFB, in San Angelo, TX as a classroom instructor and curriculum developer.

What You'll do:

  • Instruct and Inspire: Develop and deliver cutting-edge intelligence courses in accordance with AFIs, AETCIs, and local supplements. Engage with students through both classroom and computer-based instruction.

  • Curriculum Development: Continuously update and enhance the Officer Intelligence Course to keep it aligned with the latest standards and practices.

  • Student Progress: Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.

  • Capstone Exercises: Lead students through rigorous capstone exercises, which may require working extended hours at times to ensure their success.

What We Need:

  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI security clearance required on Day 1.

  • Educational Background: Minimum Associate's degree.

  • Experience: 6+ years as an all-source intelligence analyst.

  • Certification: Graduate of the AETC AFSC-awarding course for 14N or 1N0, sister-service equivalent, or National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) equivalent.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of the Basic Instructor Course or equivalent.

  • Experience as an All-Source intelligence instructor.
