Job description

Clyde & Co seeks a paralegal based in Seattle with 0-2 years of experience to support our Coverage team. The opportunity is suited to someone who thrives within a busy, stimulating and fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a busy caseload;
  • Draft, update and maintain spreadsheets to track status of cases;
  • Assisting in document review, organization and production and prepare privilege logs;
  • Assisting with depositions and exhibit preparation
  • Reviewing court dockets and electronic filing notifications; Assist counsel with all phases of litigation (pre-trial, trial and post-trial).
  • Preparation of pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses, trial lists, and other litigation documents
  • Intake and organization of voluminous document production received from clients, opposing parties, and non-parties

Required Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience for this position;
  • Excellent written and communication skills;
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with Court websites and e-filing procedures;
  • Well-developed organization and time management skills;
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information;
  • Ability to gracefully work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

The pay range for this position is $35.71 - $40.11 per hour equivalent to $65,000 - $73,000 annually based on a 35 - hour work week. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
