What You'll Do

We are seeking two (2) experienced Full-Time Teachers who are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating classroom. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, and partnering with families to ensure each child reaches their full potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction & Engagement: Develop and lead daily lesson plans that meet Arizona Early Learning Standards.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a high standard of classroom organization and student safety at all times.
  • Observation & Assessment: Monitor student progress, document developmental milestones, and provide regular feedback to parents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Zion Institute leadership team to ensure program compliance and excellence.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a licensed childcare facility or educational program.
  • Clearance: Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Health: Current TB test results and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CDA (Child Development Associate) or Associate’s degree in ECE preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a heart for community-focused education.
