Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney AmLaw 100 Opportunity Compensation

$260,000 โ€“ $390,000+

Aligned Talent Acquisition is continually seeking experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorneys for opportunities with Am Law 50, Am Law 100, Am Law 200, regional, and boutique law firms throughout the Chicago market.

If you have experience litigating patent, trade secret, trademark, or copyright disputes, I'd love to connect.

Ideal Background
  • 3โ€“7 years of intellectual property litigation experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
  • Experience handling patent litigation, trade secret litigation, trademark disputes, copyright litigation, and unfair competition matters
  • Experience practicing before U.S. District Courts, the Federal Circuit, the PTAB, or the ITC is a plus
  • Technical background or degree in engineering, computer science, chemistry, biology, physics, or a related field is preferred for patent-focused practices
  • Experience drafting Markman briefs, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, and complex discovery
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and client counseling skills
  • Ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters while maintaining significant client interaction
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
  • Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
