Job Overview:
Role: Tech B (Electronics Technician)
Location: Albany, NY
Day Shift
 
Interview: In-person + hands-on skills test (soldering required)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components
  • Diagnose issues down to the component level
  • Perform soldering and de-soldering (surface mount & through-hole)
  • Use test equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams
  • Maintain repair efficiency, documentation, and quality standards
  • Follow ESD and warehouse safety protocols
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong soldering skills (required to pass test)
  • Knowledge of electronic circuits and components
  • Experience with troubleshooting and testing electronics
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment
  • Basic computer/data entry skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred:
  • Prior technical/electronics repair experience
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
