About the Role

Intel Foundry is seeking a highly collaborative, influential, and experienced professional for a high-impact role that bridges business strategy, market intelligence, technology planning, and customer engagement. This position will play a critical role in shaping Intel Foundry's competitive positioning, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and identifying new opportunities across the rapidly evolving semiconductor industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Intel Foundry's mid- and long-term business and growth strategies, including three- to five-year growth roadmaps and longer-term strategic planning. This includes conducting comprehensive market and competitive assessments, identifying customer needs and pain points, evaluating growth opportunities, supporting technology investment decisions, and influencing product and technology roadmaps.

A key focus of the role will be developing strategies to expand Intel Foundry's presence with strategic semiconductor customers and increase technology adoption, market penetration, and revenue. The individual will also help determine how Intel Foundry can maximize the commercial value and longevity of its existing technologies and manufacturing capabilities while improving profitability and competitive positioning.

The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across Research and Development, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, Planning, and Operations to ensure business strategies are aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, operational capabilities, and corporate objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive semiconductor industry experience, strong business and strategic acumen, exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and communicate complex strategies to executive and technical audiences. Experience in semiconductor corporate strategy, business planning, foundry, manufacturing, or fabless semiconductor organizations is highly relevant to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Intel Foundry's mid- and long-term business strategy, including three- to five-year growth roadmaps and longer-term strategic planning.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate and expand relationships with strategic semiconductor customers, driving technology adoption, revenue growth, and market share.
  • Identify and assess emerging market opportunities, including AI/ML, data center, Automotive, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Internet of Things (IoT), and Advanced Packaging.
  • Develop strategies to maximize the commercial value and longevity of existing technologies and manufacturing capacity while improving profitability and competitive positioning.
  • Conduct market sizing, segmentation, TAM/SAM, customer pain-point, and competitive analyses to identify high-growth opportunities and support strategic planning.
  • Define technology and enablement requirements needed to expand into targeted market segments and influence product and technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to promote Intel Foundry solutions and develop strategies for winning and expanding strategic customer engagements.
  • Develop and maintain mid- to long-term demand forecasts by integrating input from account teams, segment marketing, planning, and operations organizations.
  • Define and refine Intel Foundry's value proposition and competitive differentiation within the semiconductor market.
  • Support strategic technology investment decisions, including advanced process nodes and next-generation packaging technologies.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to guide business decisions, anticipate industry shifts, and identify future growth opportunities beyond current market and AI-driven demand cycles.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with demonstrated business acumen and/or relevant business experience.
  • 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience, including:
    • 8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: foundry, semiconductor manufacturing, product strategy, business planning, corporate strategy, strategic marketing, or business development.
    • 6+ years of experience developing market, business, or technology strategies that influenced executive-level decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing business, market, and/or long-term growth strategies within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional, global teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a leading management consulting firm.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, foundry business models, advanced packaging technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives resulting in measurable business growth or market expansion.
  • Demonstrated success developing, communicating, and executing business and growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
  • Direct semiconductor foundry experience (Intel Foundry, TSMC, Samsung Foundry, GlobalFoundries, UMC, SMIC, etc.) or relevant strategic planning experience within a leading semiconductor/fabless company.
