Senior Estimator & Preconstruction Manager – Drive Strategic Growth and High-Value Commercial Bids Job Overview
  • Company: Freedom Interiors Group.

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000 – $90,000+ per year plus Bonus Opportunities.

  • Location: Greenville, SC.

  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday (7:00 AM – 12:00 PM).

  • Project Scope: Commercial Drywall, Metal Framing, and Specialty Exterior Systems.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity

You will step into a high-impact leadership role designed for a relationship-driven professional ready to shape the future of our preconstruction department. This is your chance to move beyond the "back-office" and become a key face of the company, building marketplace trust and securing profitable projects. With a direct path toward Director-level responsibilities, you will be instrumental in scaling our operations and strengthening our client footprint.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Produce highly accurate and competitive commercial estimates for complex drywall, framing, and specialty cladding systems.

  • Cultivate long-term repeat relationships with General Contractors, architects, and vendors to secure a consistent project pipeline.

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to identify potential risks and value-engineering opportunities.

  • Lead pre-bid meetings and client presentations, representing the company with professionalism and technical authority.

  • Collaborate with field operations to ensure seamless project handoffs and accurate forecasting of upcoming labor and material needs.

  • Optimize internal preconstruction workflows and systems to improve bidding efficiency and win rates.

  • Coordinate with vendors to secure precise pricing, ensuring all proposals are comprehensive and buildable.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive experience estimating commercial drywall, framing, and specialty ceiling or cladding systems.

  • Proven track record of managing multiple project bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong professional communication skills with a sales-oriented mindset and a stable work history.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience with ACM/MCM systems, Fiber Cement, or Insulated Metal Panels.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with ambitions to move into a Director-level executive role.

  • Deep network of existing relationships within the South Carolina commercial construction market.
