Job description

Job Title: Fabricator Welder
Work Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range $28-$33 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Cut, shape, and join metal components using various welding techniques
  • Operate welding equipment like MIG, TIG, and stick welders
  • Inspect and verify weld quality and structural integrity
  • Prepare and set up welding workstations
  • Measure and mark metal pieces for fabrication
  • Grind and smooth welded joints
  • Maintain and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
Required Skills:
  • Prior experience bending, tubing, coping, upper structures and handrails.
  • Welding certifications (AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes
  • Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
