Join ENTEK Today as our new Quality Inspector!


The Quality Inspector position is to ensure the quality of work is maintained pertaining to civil, mechanical, and electrical work on buildings 1 and 2 at the Terre Haute site. As the owner’s representative, this person will work with the ENTEK team and have a professional relationship with all contractors to ensure quality work is performed and mitigated by reporting to the Director of Construction.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Observation and Inspection of civil, mechanical, and electrical work being performed by non-direct contractors and direct contractors at the Terre Haute site.
  • Write daily reports on items observed and report daily to the Director of Construction.
  • Work daily with ENTEK PMs on locations needing observations and inspection
  • Submit daily issues to the team for resolution immediately, as seen
  • Work with contractors on the locations of key work areas needed for inspection
  • Attend the morning work briefing with contractors and the team
  • Offer resolutions to the ENTEK team for issues that arise


The position accomplishes these responsibilities through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by ENTEK’s Core Values, strategic objectives, and Servant Leadership. This position will represent ENTEK with the highest standard of professional conduct when interacting with partners, suppliers, and customers.


Essential Functions:

  • Observe and report on the inspection of work
  • Reporting daily
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Take directions from the Director and Pm’s
  • Professional attitude with all members of the team and contractors
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years of Relevant Experience to include:
  • Mechanical and equipment installation in a heavy industrial setting
  • Civil experience with dirt work and concrete pours
  • Experience working closely with several contractors at once on a large job site
  • Prefer some electrical knowledge
