Micro Metals, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring our sheet metal products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

If you have experience with precision measurement tools, blueprint reading, and manufacturing quality processes, this is an opportunity to join a stable, team-oriented environment where your work directly impacts production excellence.

Requirements

What You'll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement across our shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform  in-process and final inspections of sheet metal products
  • Utilize  precision tools including calipers and micrometers
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications
  • Verify dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • Identify non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
  • Conduct first article inspections on new or revised parts
  • Verify inspection tools are within calibration standards
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and reporting

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience using precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

  • 2+ years manufacturing or quality inspection experience
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and trigonometry
  • Trade school or technical training
  • Machine safety or quality systems training
