Job description

HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN
$26-$38/hour
In this role as HVAC Service Technician, you'll provide high-quality service and ensure customers enjoy comfort and reliability. Serving Roanoke, Franklin County, and the Smith Mountain Lake area, your focus will be on residential service while taking on:
  • Performing HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
  • Conducting routine preventative maintenance for peak performance.
  • Collaborating with teammates to resolve complex maintenance or repair issues.
  • Documenting activities and ensuring customer communication is clear and professional.
  • Flexible on call schedule

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of HVAC experience, with some commercial experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work references from previous supervisors, managers, or co-workers

  • Clean driving record (no more than one violation in the last three years)
  • Clean background check and acceptable references
  • Pre-employment and random drug testing required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles safely
  • Lift heavy equipment as needed
  • Work in various weather conditions while following safety protocols
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods
