The Asset Integrity Business Analyst supports the accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of asset integrity data, systems, and business processes to ensure reliable equipment and maintenance compliance. This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, and IT to analyze master data, enhance reporting, support preventive maintenance programs, and enable effective use of asset integrity systems across the organization.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Support and optimize Asset Integrity for business systems and processes, including validation, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze, reconcile, and maintain asset master and transactional data (equipment records, task lists, BOMs, PMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with information standards
  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and IT to support equipment status management, reporting enhancements, and preventive maintenance system optimization
  • Assist with root cause analysis, trend identification, oil sampling initiatives, and ongoing data management activities such as notifications and work orders
  • Support business users by improving processes, developing documentation, and training materials, assisting with testing, and resolving system and data issues as they arise

 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Arts, Science, or related) with 1-2 years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, IF functions, PivotTables/Charts, conditional formatting) and strong MS Office skills; experience in Master Data Management is an asset
  • Experience or familiarity with SharePoint and SAP Plant Maintenance is preferred
  • Strong communicator and self starter with the ability to support users of varying technical skill levels, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a positive, adaptable approach
