Job description

We are currently recruiting for a part-time supervising nurse to join our team. Qualified applicants must possess a valid registered nurse (RN) license, possess at least two years of medical supervision experience, have strong communication skills, be willing to travel for occasional house visits and possess excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. Essential Functions::
  • Participate in establishing and implementing the client's service plan in coordination with the staff providing the client's services.
  • Regularly assess the nursing needs of the client. Please Note: All Nursing assessments are mandatory in-person
  • Conduct an initial face-to-face assessment of the client at the client's home.
  • Work with clients and their families, assessing the home environment to determine their needs.
  • Report problems and progress of the client to supervisors and personnel or the client's physicians.
  • Perform annual assessments and evaluations of LPNs, PCAs, CNAs, Companions, or Sitters by direct observation or demonstration of tasks while the supervisees perform assigned tasks.
  • Supervise visits when the provider receives a complaint concerning services at the supervisory home.
  • Review all plans of treatments for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness.
  • Assist in the orientation of new caregivers and annual evaluation
  • Perform supervisory visits to each client to observe the caregiver and advise on proper care and procedures if necessary, and ensure client satisfaction with care. *Supervisory Visits Are Required To Be In-Person At Least Once Per Month.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 1+ year of medical supervision experience
  • Home healthcare experience *nice to have*
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR Certified

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Able to observe and assess the client visually and aurally.
  • Able to demonstrate basic understanding and Proficiency of workplace software
  • Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce, both clinical and non-clinical.
  • Able to perform and prioritize multiple functions or tasks.
  • Meets applicable health requirements to provide client care.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
  • Work is normally performed in a client's home.
  • Able to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment.
  • Able to lift, reposition, and transfer clients.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach freely and assist clients with walking.
  • Able to work flexible schedule and/or evening hours as needed.

Job Details:
  • Per-Visit Rate: You will be compensated $70 per completed for in-person visits *Please Note: Supervisory Visits Required To Be In-Person At Least Once Per Month.
  • Per Nursing Assessment: $100 Per nursing assessment. * Please Note: All Nursing Assessments are Mandatory in-person.
  • Case Loads: Will be assigned strategically, but Supervisors should expect a minimum of at least 10 clients.
  • Administrative Flat Fee : (Please Note This is Optional & Not Automatically Included With the Role): A monthly flat fee of $400 for biweekly sign offs, client administrative tasks, Auditing nursing charting to ensure documentation aligns with state requirements & Reviewing all nursing notes one day per week, which may take approximately 2 hours weekly.
