Introduction to the job
ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
The Customer Support Organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, upgrade, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform qualification, repair, upgrades, and maintenance for the customers within the specific region.
The holder of this position reports to the EUV Operations Planning and Prep manager and is responsible for providing operations integrated sequences. The Sequence integrator will work with other team members like the planner and preparation coordinator to ensure all planning and preparation tasks are done to guarantee maximum quality for the 1st line team.
Role and responsibilities
The role of the Sequence Integrator is to independently plan, prep, verify, merge and execute service actions sequences into the most efficient and effective method/sequence. Based on the defined scope (SO's, PM's, FCO's and FCP's) from the planner you merge and optimize the sequence to meet targets pending the given constrains. The output plan includes the daily tasks as well as USD and longer-term SD plans. The role encompasses the preparation of the sequences collected from GEAR and Coach databases. This person has a continuous improvement mindset and will communicate internally within the OPP team. Provide insights for the scheduling in relation to the sequences. They are in frequent communication with the central sequence integration team.
Your main responsibilities:
  • Is the expert on combining service actions.
  • Guarantee quality through review and risk assessments meetings.
  • Set and record improvement projects and data on labor savings through optimization.
  • Provide critical and developmental feedback from execution to relevant teams.
  • Add localizations based on learning.

Your main deliverables:
  • Ensure that all safety and procedures (Work permits and SRB) are highlighted and collected and prepared by Safety Engineer.
  • Manage preparation activities, making sure sequences/COI deliverables come in on time.
  • Update planning board (operational and OPP) as needed.
  • Merged sequences for integration into the works plan.
  • Fine tune for local system configuration and localize.
  • Execution activities in relation to sequences.
  • Gathers feedback from the execution to modify and record BKM.
  • Records knowledge gained and shares this on platforms for central and global meetings.

Education and experience
  • BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant hands-on cleanroom experience and/or sequence generation, combining and optimization. Preferred on all 3 sub-systems (Scanner, source and drive laser).
