Are you ready to love your job?

The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.

PURPOSE

As an Associate Project Manager, you will own end-to-end implementation projects that bring new airlines onto OCC Assistant Manager, SITA’s AI-powered Operations Control Center solution that helps airlines manage and recover from operational disruptions.

You will be accountable for taking each new airline from kick-off to go-live, covering connectivity, parametrization, configuration, fine-tuning, airline evaluation and business case preparation, until OCC Assistant Manager solves disruptions the way the airline needs.

Reporting to the Head of Disruption Management Solutions, you will be part of the OCC Assistant Manager team responsible for implementing the product for new airline customers around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own end-to-end implementation projects for new airline customers, from kick-off through to go-live and operational readiness.
  • Build and execute a repeatable onboarding playbook covering kick-off, connectivity, data integration milestones, configuration, airline evaluation, business case development and go-live.
  • Drive every phase of the implementation, including VPN connectivity, data integrations, solution parametrization, OCC Assistant Manager configuration, internal fine-tuning, airline evaluation and go-live activities.
  • Gather business, operational and technical requirements from airline stakeholders to ensure successful solution parametrization and deployment.
  • Coordinate Infrastructure, Science, Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to ensure connectivity, configuration, validation, training and go-live activities remain aligned and on schedule.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, capacity, dependencies, risks, client commitments and deliverables across multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Apply strong project management practices throughout the project lifecycle, including business cases, stakeholder communications, status reporting, change requests, risk mitigation, variance analysis and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate and follow up on deliverables from both airline stakeholders and internal teams, proactively removing blockers and driving accountability.
  • Track risks, timelines and commitments and escalate issues early when delivery objectives are at risk.
  • Run and oversee multiple airline implementations simultaneously across different geographies and time zones, primarily through remote collaboration.
  • Develop and present customer business cases that quantify the value delivered by OCC Assistant Manager.
  • Support commercial activities by contributing to successful customer deliveries, enabling new business opportunities and supporting pre-sales activities where needed.
  • Present project updates, risks and outcomes to senior stakeholders, governance boards and executive audiences, adapting the level of detail appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, dashboards and reporting to ensure transparency on portfolio performance, progress, risks and corrective actions.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, promoting collaboration, engagement and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Engineering, Aviation or another relevant technical discipline.

  • Minimum six years of project management experience delivering projects and programmes of varying size, complexity, budget and scope.

  • Experience managing software implementation, SaaS deployment or systems integration projects for enterprise customers.

  • Formal project management certification such as PMP, Prince2 or equivalent.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while delivering on time, within scope and within budget.

  • Strong project planning, governance, stakeholder management and risk management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage customers, senior stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of tracking multiple workstreams, deliverables, risks and dependencies simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage escalations and maintain momentum in fast-paced and complex environments.

  • Basic SQL knowledge and sufficient data literacy to monitor and troubleshoot data integrations.

  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations and technical implementation concepts.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.

NICE-TO-HAVE
  • Previous experience within aviation, airline operations, flight operations, air traffic management or aviation technology environments.

  • Familiarity with airline operational systems such as Lufthansa Netline, AIMS, CAE, Jeppesen or similar platforms.

  • Understanding of OCC/IOCC operational environments and airline disruption management processes.

  • Experience with the full SaaS implementation lifecycle.

  • Experience supporting customer-facing technology transformation, operational improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
