Position: - Rave Medidata Support Analyst

Location: - San Francisco, CA

Joining Mode: - Full Time

Job Description:-

v Perform root cause analysis: - Identify the technical root cause of an incident. Identify resolution and technical fix required. Identify and document workarounds as necessary.

o Familiar with Rave EDC & Architect (study build) functionality.

o Should be proficient with C# coding.

o Should have strong JAVA knowledge.

o Should have strong Oracle SQL knowledge.

o Should have strong T-SQL programming knowledge.

o Should have strong query optimization skills.

v Overall understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and familiarity with Good Clinical Practice regulations and processes is preferable.

v Create shared knowledge content and maintain knowledge base: - Create new knowledge content useful for all future resources according to knowledge documentation requirements. Continually maintain tip sheets, frequently asked questions, common issue responses, and all applicable knowledge documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

v Ownership of issues assigned: - Drive resolution for all assigned issues, tasks, or incidents.

v Technical issue communication: - Provide technical details, impact assessments, and test case details to SQA resources for changes.

v Work cross functionally to resolve issues: - Work across IT teams if issues are related to Databases, Network, Firewall, Cyclone, Sterling, etc.

v Document impact assessment Provide impact assessment of Rave changes to the integrations.

v Adhoc queries: - Create and run adhoc queries as requested by RAVE teams or customers.

v Monitor integration jobs: - Ensure the integration jobs run according to schedule. Escalate or resolve issues as required.

v Reconciliation reports: - Develop and run reconciliation scripts and reports.

v Issue / bug impact assessment: - Develop and execute scripts to identify how studies (and users) are impacted by bugs. Develop reports and analysis to show the impact.

v Develop workarounds: - Develop workarounds and Knowledge objects for L3 support if bugs are identified that will not be resolved immediately.

v Change control process technical support: - Provide technical details for and follow the approved Client Change Control process. This includes support of validation activities.

v Maintain design documentation: - Update and maintain design documentation with every bug fix, release, or change.

v Unit testing: - Perform Unit testing for bug fixes.

v Incident resolution: - Provide clear and understandable directions / resolutions that are acceptable to the customer and resolve the incident.

v Enhancement Development: - Develop and deploy enhancement code per the Client requirements for the custom, in-house integrations. Work with Client SQA testers to ensure code is production ready. Follow the Client approved change control process to deploy code.

v Bug Fix Development: - Develop and deploy bug fix code independently, as required for the custom, in-house integrations. Work with Client SQA testers to ensure code is production ready. Follow the Client approved change control process to deploy code.

v Maintain Custom Integrations: - Maintain code for custom, in-house integrations.
