Job description

Description
The Integration Solutions Analyst is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the technical integrations that connect our Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms to carriers, customers, and trading partners. This role owns the full integration lifecycle - from data mapping and middleware development through testing, deployment, and ongoing troubleshooting - ensuring reliable, accurate data flow across EDI, API, and file-based connections. Acting as the technical backbone behind carrier and customer onboarding, this role works hands-on in Boomi, SQL Server, and our TMS platforms to keep integrations stable, scalable, and easy to extend.
Who Is M2?
M2 Logistics is a privately held logistics provider founded in 2001. M2 was formed and prides itself on
meeting the needs of our customers through a relentless discipline of our core values. M2 has remained resolute in being large enough to leverage a complete suite of logistics services yet structuring the execution teams to remain small enough to offer a personal touch.
The Position
  • Design, build, and maintain Dell Boomi integration processes - including maps, profiles, connectors, and API operations - connecting TMS platforms to carrier, customer, and third-party systems
  • Develop and troubleshoot EDI transactions (e.g., 204, 210, 214, 990) including trading partner setup, FTP/AS2 transmission, and retransmission/error recovery
  • Write, execute, and troubleshoot SQL queries against TMS databases (SQL Server) to support data validation, integration testing, and issue resolution
  • Configure and maintain carrier and customer trading partner setups within TMS platforms, including rate integration, load tender/dispatch, and shipment status updates
  • Diagnose and resolve integration failures - XML/schema validation errors, null reference exceptions, authentication failures, WAF/security blocks, and data mapping defects
  • Build and validate XML payloads against XSD schemas for new and evolving integrations
  • Partner directly with carriers, customers, and internal teams to scope, build, and onboard new integrations and EDI trading partners
  • Document integration specifications, data mappings, and troubleshooting runbooks for internal reference
  • Monitor integration health and transaction logs, identify root causes of recurring failures, and implement preventive fixes
  • Support testing and validation of new TMS features, schema changes, and platform upgrades that affect existing integrations
  • Collaborate with the Solutions/Onboarding team to support the technical configuration and integration components of customer implementations as needed

Why should you apply?
  • Fun and energetic work environment
  • Work/Life balance is a core value of the M2 Logistics organization
  • Lack of bureaucracy - more empowerment
  • Pride in ownership
  • Servant leadership - no barriers
  • Caring/compassionate owner - trickle down effect
  • A really cool team that you get to work with!

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in integration development, EDI, or technical TMS support
  • Hands-on experience with Boomi (or comparable middleware such as MuleSoft or SnapLogic) strongly preferred
  • Experience with SQL Server (or a similar RDBMS) for querying, data validation, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with EDI/X12 transaction sets in a logistics or transportation context
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and common authentication methods (OAuth, token-based, etc.)
  • Experience with TMS platforms (e.g., McLeod, 3GTMS, Mercury Gate, Blue Yonder, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Experience in the logistics/transportation industry preferred
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to approximately 10%) for onboarding or carrier/customer support as needed
