Summary

The IS Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing complex cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact such as electronic medical record implementations, ERP implementations, all technology aspects of new facility, etc. He/she is responsible for creating integrated project plans that encompass all technical, business, and communication aspects of technology projects. He/she manages all phases of the project lifecycle to implement information technologies while identifying areas for improvement around process enhancements, system utilizations, standardizations and optimizations. He/she serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects while ensuring deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Additionally, this position will lead/assist in the support of processes within the IS Project Management Office that include:

IS project management software applications

Project Management policies and procedures

Project Management Portfolio

IT Governance

This position will be responsible for project managing medium and large scale technology projects. Serves as a mentor for new project managers. Develops and maintains effective relationships and communications with all IS leaders, IS staff, and other organization leaders and staff. Assumes other duties as assigned.
