 Position Summary

Panel Built is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to support the sales of our prefabricated Electrical Houses (E-Houses). This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical contracting, power distribution equipment, switchgear, substations, or industrial electrical systems.

The successful candidate will work directly with utilities, EPC firms, electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and industrial end users to identify project opportunities, review specifications, develop proposals, and guide projects through the sales process.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities
  • Manage      inbound leads and develop new E-House sales opportunities.
  • Review      electrical specifications, one-line diagrams, equipment layouts, and      project documents.
  • Work      with customers to define project requirements and develop technical      solutions.
  • Prepare      quotations, proposals, and budgetary estimates.
  • Coordinate      with engineering, estimating, and manufacturing teams to ensure project      feasibility and accuracy.
  • Follow      up on quotations and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Build      relationships with utilities, electrical contractors, EPC firms, system      integrators, and industrial customers.
  • Maintain      accurate opportunity records within the company's CRM system.
  • Assist      with project handoff to engineering and project management teams after      award.
QualificationsRequired
  • 3+      years of experience in electrical sales, electrical contracting,      switchgear, substations, power distribution, controls, or related      electrical industries.
  • Ability      to read and interpret electrical specifications, one-line diagrams, and      construction drawings.
  • Strong      understanding of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent      communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated      with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
Preferred
  • Experience      selling E-Houses, switchgear, MCCs, substations, control buildings, power      distribution equipment, or prefabricated electrical systems.
  • Experience      working with utility, renewable energy, data center, or industrial      projects.
  • Familiarity      with NetSuite CRM or similar sales platforms.
