About the Role

McKesson is seeking a Director, M&A Technology Integration & Transformation to lead technology due diligence, integration planning, carve-out execution, and post-transaction value realization across acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business transformations as it relates to Enterprise Applications.

This leader will partner with executive stakeholders, technology teams, finance, legal, corporate development, and external partners to assess transaction impacts, identify synergies, mitigate risks, and deliver seamless integration outcomes. The role combines strategic leadership, financial analysis, program governance, and large-scale transformation execution to help advance enterprise objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Enterprise Applications technology due diligence, execution and post-transaction activities for acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and carve-outs.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end IT integration and separation strategies and playbooks.
  • Coordinate planning and execution across Enterprise Applications domains including ERP, Finance Systems, HR Systems, and Digital Workplace Services.
  • Partner with Finance and Corporate Development teams to identify cost synergies, value creation opportunities, and integration investments.
  • Build and manage integration roadmaps, governance structures, risks, timelines, and executive reporting.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive execution.
  • Lead change management, communication planning, and organizational readiness activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement, governance excellence, and strategic transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
Basic Requirements
  • 12+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years of people leadership or management responsibility.
  • Experience leading M&A technology due diligence, integration planning, or carve-out programs.
  • Experience overseeing enterprise-scale technology transformations and complex cross-functional initiatives across ERP, Finance Systems, HR Systems, and Digital Workplace Services.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with executive leaders, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Experience performing financial analysis, business case development, synergy identification, or value realization planning.
  • Strong risk assessment, issue management, and mitigation planning experience.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, or carve-out transactions.
  • Experience with PMO leadership, governance frameworks, and portfolio management.
  • Track record of managing external consulting partners and strategic vendors.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, supply chain, or regulated industries.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience using analytics and data-driven decision-making to support strategic investments.
  • Prosci, PMP, TOGAF, Agile, or equivalent certifications.
Travel / Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Travel may be required based on transaction activity, stakeholder engagement, and integration milestones.
  • Standard office and computer-based work environment.
  • Flex & Connect work model with a requirement to be in the office two (2) days per week.
