Housekeeping Attendant – Care and Hygiene (Asicc-Med – Mobile Health) About Asicc-Med – Mobile Health Asicc-Med is a Quebec organization committed to providing quality care and respectful support to people with loss of autonomy. Our housekeeping attendants contribute directly to the well-being of patients by creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment, whether at home or in an institution. Your tasks include, among other things: Carry out general maintenance of rooms, common areas and offices (sweeping, washing floors, dusting, cleaning surfaces). Ensure regular disinfection of equipment, handles, contact surfaces and sanitary facilities according to established protocols. Respect the rules of hygiene and sanitation in the healthcare environment. Collect and manage waste, including biomedical waste, according to current standards. Handle and maintain equipment and cleaning products safely. Maintain a basic inventory of products and report replenishment needs. Follow infection prevention and quality control procedures. Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to meet the needs of residents/patients. Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate superior. Profile sought: Experience in housekeeping (care setting, hotel or similar) an asset. Organizational skills, rigor and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team. Reliability, discretion and respect for confidentiality. Physical endurance (standing, lifting and moving light loads). Legal documents and requirements for practicing in Quebec Criminal record check (mandatory in healthcare settings). WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) training – often required by establishments.
