Manager, Integrated Product Marketing | Retail Bank

Are you someone who can operate between the business & customers to build a go-to-market strategy for products? Capital One is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Integrated Strategy team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our marketing efforts, leading the development of product identity, creative and messaging strategies for integrated campaigns that connect with various types of consumers that drive business results.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the Market: Drive a research agenda & analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competition

  • Product Positioning: Develop and refine compelling value propositions, market-facing messaging, and core narratives that clearly articulate product & feature benefits that meet customer needs and are differentiated from competitors

  • Lead Creative Strategy: You'll translate business objectives and consumer insights into powerful creative briefs that inspire our internal creative teams and external agency partners to develop best-in-class advertising.

  • Develop Messaging Strategy: You will craft clear, compelling, and customer-centric messaging hierarchies and narratives that resonate with our target audiences and can be adapted across a variety of marketing channels.

  • Drive the Learning Agenda: You'll champion a test-and-learn mindset, defining the key strategic questions we need to answer, developing hypotheses, and partnering with analytics teams to measure campaign effectiveness and uncover insights that will fuel future marketing efforts.

  • Marketing Campaign Calendar: Develop a roadmap that outlines all planned marketing activities across all segments & products.

  • Champion Campaign Integration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Brand, Channel Leads, Product Strategy and others to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience across the entire marketing ecosystem.

This Associate Should Bring:

  • Hands on strategic planning experience for multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns

  • Experience in marketing consumer products

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data and customer insights into actionable marketing strategies.

  • Experience writing insightful creative briefs and leading the creative development process from concept to execution.

  • A collaborative spirit and experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, or advertising

  • At least 2 years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on brand strategy or campaign development

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Marketing


Wilmington, DE: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Marketing










Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
