Job description

Position Overview:

Sigmatech, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Logistician / Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for full-spectrum logistics management of complex, major weapon systems—providing cradle-to-grave support from concept through field deployment. This position plays a key role in supporting U.S. Army acquisition programs, ensuring readiness and sustainment of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide logistics management expertise for major systems involving new and emerging technologies or complex fielding requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for Army acquisition programs—hardware and software.
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies and product support plans in alignment with DoD and Army acquisition requirements.
  • Perform ILS functions across all IPS elements:
      - Maintenance planning
      - Manpower and personnel
      - Supply support
      - Support and test equipment
      - Training and training devices
      - Technical data
      - Computer resources support
      - Packaging, handling, storage, transportation (PHS&T), and facilities
  • Assist in authoring and reviewing key logistics documents such as:
      - Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs)
      - Basis of Issue Plans (BOIPs) and BOIP Feeder Data
      - Materiel release documentation
      - Modification Work Orders (MWOs)
  • Provide technical assistance in the development of depot-level, direct support, and organizational-level maintenance and supply strategies.
  • Support sustainment of Program of Record and Non-Standard Equipment (NS-E), including spares management, field service support, and failure tracking.
  • Prepare and deliver logistics briefings and reports to stakeholders, including program managers and external partners.
  • Coordinate fielding, refurbishment, and reconstitution schedules and activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics support, preferably in a DoD environment
  • Working knowledge of Army acquisition logistics processes and sustainment practices
  • Secret security clearance (active)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a relevant field
  • Experience supporting Army acquisition programs
  • Familiarity with Army regulations, including AR 700-127, AR 770-3, AR 770-2, applicable DA PAMs, and DoDI 5000.91
