• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments that take into account the interaction between mental and physical health conditions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that not only address mental health issues but also consider patients’ concurrent medical conditions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies to promote mental health recovery.
• Collaborate actively with healthcare providers, ensuring that treatment strategies are aligned and provide comprehensive patient support.
• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely, compassionate care.

Our service model focuses on individuals suffering from co-occurring medical conditions, including but not limited to autoimmune disorders, substance use issues, and chronic pain conditions. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide crucial support to patients as they navigate the complexities of both their mental health and comorbid physical issues, ensuring they receive holistic care tailored to their needs.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated experience in treating individuals with co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
