• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, particularly focusing on how patients’ medical conditions influence their mental health.
• Design and implement integrated treatment plans that effectively address both psychiatric and medical needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique experiences and backgrounds of your patients, employing adaptable therapeutic techniques.
• Work collaboratively with medical providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, resulting in improved treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention support and resources during mental health emergencies, demonstrating your competence in high-pressure situations.
• Educate patients on the interconnectivity of mental and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient records are up to date and secure.
• Participate actively in team meetings, interdisciplinary case conferences, and care planning sessions to share insights and strategies for patient care improvement.
• Remain current on relevant research, best practices, and advancements in integrated healthcare to enhance your professional skills and the quality of care provided.

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily serve patients with co-occurring conditions such as chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use issues. This population requires specialized support, and your role will help bridge the gap between their physical and mental health needs, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing the complexities of mental health in individuals with concurrent medical issues.
• Experience in providing integrated care that involves collaboration with medical professionals is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must for effective patient interactions and team collaboration.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology will be an advantage.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is vital for this role.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting is required.
• Previous work in integrated healthcare settings or community health clinics is highly desirable.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the importance of your expertise in this critical role.
