Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and school counselors, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, including risk assessment and safety planning to support students experiencing acute challenges.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Lead psychoeducation classes and support groups that empower students and their families with skills and knowledge to navigate mental health challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary client base will be children and adolescents in the school setting, addressing a variety of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and behavioral issues. The diversity within our student population reflects the vibrant culture of Hialeah, allowing you to engage with different perspectives and experiences while fostering a spirit of inclusivity and understanding.

Qualifications
  • A valid Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience within a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies and treatment frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills necessary for effective interaction with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with integrated behavioral healthcare models and interventions.
  • Utilization of technology in therapy, such as telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).
