Schlesinger Law Offices is a litigation-focused personal injury firm with a national reputation and a strong commitment to client care. For more than 70 years, we have handled personal injury cases and recovered billions for our clients.

We are seeking an Intake Attorney to serve as the first legal point of contact for prospective clients. This role is focused on case evaluation, client consultation, and intake operations. As a member of the intake team, the Intake Attorney will work closely with firm leadership and marketing to improve case quality, conversion, and the overall client experience.


Client Consultation and Case Evaluation

  • Conduct intake consultations with prospective clients
  • Evaluate liability, damages, legal merit, and overall case viability
  • Make timely case-acceptance decisions consistent with firm standards and strategy
  • Identify and sign strong cases that align with the firm’s priorities

Client Experience

  • Serve as a compassionate and confident first point of contact
  • Clearly explain legal options, timelines, and next steps
  • Build trust with individuals facing difficult circumstances

Intake Strategy and Leadership

  • Work with intake team to refine intake criteria, scripts, and workflows
  • Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Identify trends in incoming cases and provide feedback to leadership

Operations and Systems

  • Maintain accurate records in Lead Docket
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of retained cases into Filevine
  • Monitor intake performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • At least two years of personal injury experience
  • Strong understanding of case evaluation and client counseling
  • Sound judgment in assessing case value and risk
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable making quick, high-impact decisions
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
