Salary range (but not limited to):

87,200 - 106,600

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. What you'll do here:

  • Participate in strategic initiatives that enhance pricing sophistication within ratemaking and help explain nationwide performance by supporting earnings call preparation.

  • Deliver actuarial support for large-account pricing across more than 22 lines of business, strengthening governance through indications, rate committees, and corporate planning processes.

  • Drive change by improving work processes, adopting modern technologies and making substantial observations, conclusions and recommendations.

  • Use your expertise to resolve complex problems and help your colleagues in doing the same by sharing youractuarialknowledge.

  • Help guide and prioritize the team's work and coach effectively to strengthen both individual and group success.

  • Share the conclusions of your analysis to the appropriatestakeholdersand make recommendations within the established timelines.

What you bring to the table:

  • University Degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • Certifications in Mathematics,Actuarial, ACAS preferred.

  • 3 years or more ofactuarialexperience (preferably in theP&C Insurancesector).

  • Good knowledge withPython,VBA, R orSAS.

  • Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovative,analytical, decision making, critical thinking, stellar communication,planningand organizing, team oriented.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
